Who doesn’t want to become a character from the fairytales? Stroll through the mysterious forest with the storytelling and meet the magical fairy and the tiny elves? Solve puzzles and enjoy a fairy tale experience?
During August, the Jerusalem Municipality, the Ariel Company and the Botanical Gardens invite you to a fascinating experience. In the evening, the gardens will transform into a magical world with an enchanted atmosphere, full of sounds, stories, games, surprising encounters with characters that symbolize the greatest childhood experience of all –fairytales.
In the garden, visitors will find characters from fairytales among them: Geppetto and Pinocchio, Rapunzel and Elsa, Humpty Dumpty and Alice in Wonderland, a mischievous elf, a diligent miner dwarf, a magical fairy. Captivating stories will accompany the children on mysterious paths and corners illuminated by magical and special lighting, Illuminating the tops of trees and plants in the area with music and sounds that exist only in legends.
Visitors will be greeted by Geppetto and Pinocchio, who will give everyone a riddle and a map. The children will be able to take pictures with characters from the legends and visit 9 playgrounds where there will be a special experiential activity that includes: Aliza's cricket ground in Wonderland, they will try to save Rapunzel from the tower, solve the Humpty Dumpty riddle wall, explore the Wishes Trail, take the dragon route, meet Elsa In the hidden waterfall, follow the noise of hammers of the mountain and search for gold in the mine along with the dwarves, climb Jacks wall and visit Peter Pan and Tinkerbell in the new tropical conservatory.
It should be noted that the University Botanical Garden in Givat Ram in Jerusalem opened its gates to the public according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health in accordance with the purple mark, several weeks ago. The garden covers an area of ​​about 120 dunams. “The Land of Fairytales” is spreak over about a quarter of the gardens. Hundreds of families can safely be admitted at the same time whilst maintaining socially approved distance, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
The botanical garden took care of the disinfection of public areas and public services and audited the number of visitors and the conduct of the public during the visit, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Tickets are ordered in advance only through the BIMOT website.





The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, stated that "As they do every year, the University Botanical Garden in Givat Ram, will hold another spectacular summer event. This year it is full of content and educational values, which deepens children’s connection to nature. We make every effort to maintain all our health and act according. “The Land of Fairytales”  is an event that is suitable for the whole family and provides a fun and refreshing experience in a magical landscape full of colors and smells like only Jerusalem can. I invite all residents of the country to come to the capital in August and enjoy the variety of experiences our city has to offer. "

The riddle:
The route begins with Geppetto and Pinocchio near the wonderful lake which is in full bloom and the lotus blossoms rise to a height of about 2 meters. Children and adults will be invited to walk and enter into the stories of “The Land of Fairytales” and embark on a quest for a magical object that has disappeared.
Each family will receive at the entrance a riddle script that includes a map of the land of legends. In order to solve the puzzle, the participants will have to help Geppetto locate the objects that were confused between the legends and find the magical object that has disappeared.
Due to the need to control the number of visitors and their level of protection, visitors are required by the following guidelines:
Tickets are sold in advance on the Bimot website .
 Visitors will be asked to move around the garden while maintaining a distance between families and avoid crowds of over 50 people; each visitor must be equipped with a personal mask and the use of gloves is also recommended (except for the exemptions from the duty according to the applicable guidelines).
